With the threat of the Covid-19 virus spreading in Cambodia, and around the world, we here at Trailblazer wish all of our staff, visitors and volunteers remain safe and healthy during this period of contagion. The spread of this virus is a concern to be taken seriously, and we hope everyone is heeding preventative measures to keep themselves safe.
Although we have stepped up hygiene efforts to keep our staff safe at the work site, we want all of you to know that Trailblazer is following the advice of the Ministry of Health, and therefore, we are asking people to postpone any plans to volunteer or visit the Trailblazer office in Siem Reap until further notice.
Any Trailblazer staff who should exhibit Covid-19 symptoms are being asked to stay home until they are cleared of the illness before they can return to work, or to go to the hospital, without loss of salary. Additionally, any Trailblazer staff who should contract the virus will be prohibited from going into the villages we work in order to prevent the spread of the virus to our village partners.
We appreciate our supporters' understanding and cooperation as we work together to do our part in helping stem the spread of Covid-19. Thank you and take care.
