Delivering health, education, and prosperity to rural Cambodia...
It’s spring in Cambodia and Trailblazer is excited about the upcoming projects planned for our communities. This is a great time for our organization to visit new villages and start putting our 2023 plans into action.
Our filters are handmade at our Siem Reap headquarters by staff and volunteers, then transported to remote villages. After installation and education, villagers have access to clean, drinkable water.
Your donations support a life saving operation. Please consider donating today and helping us deliver more good this spring.
Since our inception in 2004 as a nonprofit, Trailblazer has worked with more than 300 villages in Siem Reap province.
Why should I give monthly? To make an even greater impact. With consistent monthly giving it makes implementing our four programs (Health, Food Security, Education and Economic Development) easier because we know the funding will be there.
Your support is more crucial than ever for our work to continue long term.
We welcome individuals interested in volunteering, interning and fundraising at our work site in Cambodia or from your home. We expect that your greatest satisfaction will come from knowing you helped a number of rural Cambodian families.
Because past civil wars, political unrest, and genocide set the stage for significant rural poverty in Cambodia today.
There are several reasons why Cambodia is such a poor country, some with their roots in past events, and some due to present-day issues. Collectively, these influences have left one in five Cambodians living in poverty.
The plight of Cambodia’s rural villager is what inspired Trailblazer Foundation’s co-founders, Chris Coats and Scott Coats, to create a nonprofit that focuses on Siem Reap province and clean water.
