In 2025, Trailblazer Foundation continued its 20-year legacy of empowering rural Cambodian families. Thanks to our incredible partners and donors, we expanded our reach to 97 villages across six districts and Run Ta Ek city, surpassing several key growth targets.
2025 Key Achievements
Health Program
Total Beneficiaries: 5,863 people
- Bio-Sand Filters (BSF): Delivered 529 filters (400 new and 129 re-installed), surpassing the goal of 300 and serving over 2,640 people.
- Water Access: Drilled 154 pump wells (including 77 BSF/Well sets), providing clean water access to 770+ villagers.
- Sanitation: Constructed 32 latrines for high-need families and conducted 4 hygiene training courses for 56 participants.
- Hygiene Outreach: Distributed 4,200 toothbrushes to 2,100 students, teachers, and families in the Angkor Chum district.
- Capacity Building: Hosted 10 group workshops on water safety and hygiene for 133 community members.
Food Security Program
Total Participants: 768 Farmers
- Comprehensive Training: Conducted 45 specialized courses covering Integrated Farming, Homestead Gardening, and sustainable techniques.
- Modern Agriculture: Trained 226 farmers in advanced fertilizer and pesticide application, plus focused workshops on composting and chicken raising.
- Resource Distribution: Provided vegetable seeds to 34 trained farmers in Reul commune to kickstart local production.
- Livestock Sustainability: Maintained oversight of Chicken Farm I and selected a new partner farmer to expand the poultry project.
- Community Support: Provided ongoing consultancy and monitoring for the Lvea Farmer Community Group (FCG) to ensure long-term stability.
Education Program
- School Infrastructure: Completed 7 major building projects at Tapang Primary School (including a conference hall, renovated classrooms, toilet building, handwashing stand and bike parking) and upgraded Kok Chan Primary School with a 100m fence, new toilet building, and electrical items and ceiling fans.
- Technology & Equipment: Modernized classrooms with 7 laptops, projectors, printers, and a full suite of teaching and administrative supplies for both schools.
- Student Support: Distributed 844 school uniforms across three schools and provided 75 bicycles to help high-need students in Chansar and Tapang attend classes.
- Learning Resources: Delivered reading books, sports equipment, and essential study materials to enhance the daily educational experience for hundreds of students.
Economic Development Program
- Financial Sustainability: Conducted 131 Village Fund (VF) refreshment trips, supporting 45 active funds and providing Group Savings consultancy.
- Strategic Expansion: Completed 12 introduction trips (surpassing the goal of 8) and established 5 new Village Fund and Saving Group committees in new communities.
- Impact Documentation: Authored 24 case studies—doubling our target—to highlight the real-world success of our farmers and Village Fund initiatives.
- Project Monitoring: Completed 48 site visits to the Lvea Farmer Community Group and the re-established Chicken Farm to ensure long-term stability and growth.
